Godwin

Hi! I'm Godwin, a Seattle-based full-stack engineer with a specialization in automated accessibility testing. I currently contribute to the development of global automation standards as a member of the W3C ACT Rules Community Group.

I am also a father of a wonderful child with a rare disease and complex needs. He is an inspiration to me in both my professional and personal life.

About Me

I'm Godwin, I have been developing for the web for over 20 years. More than any technology, I has a passion for HTML and how it is interpreted by browsers and assistive technologies.

I also love to educate and share my knowledge with others. I have given talks at conferences including at CSUN, and I share my experiences and opinions with the community here. I enjoy working with developers, designers, and product owners to diagnose and corse correct on accessibility defects and help to plan ahead to avoid defects from appearing in the first place.

I use the name Godwin mononymously, it's my last name (my first name is very common). I use just Godwin both professionally and personally with a few exceptions (hi mom).
